Platform Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 11, 2026

This policy covers the data processed inside the Constructico recruitment platform. It is written for both audiences the platform touches: the recruiters and employers who use it as customers, and the candidates whose information it holds. For the marketing website, see the Privacy Policy.

1. The two roles we act in

When an employer uploads or collects candidate information for its own hiring (for example applicants to its job posts, or notes from its calls), Constructico processes that data on the employer’s behalf, and the employer decides why and how it is used. Constructico also maintains its own network of construction professionals compiled from applications, public and professional sources, and licensed data providers; for that network, Constructico is responsible for the data.

2. Candidate information we process

  • identity and contact details: name, phone numbers, email addresses, city and state;
  • professional information: trade, job titles, work history, certifications, licenses, resumes, and links to public professional profiles;
  • hiring records created on the platform: applications, screening answers, scores, notes, interview bookings, and outcomes;
  • communications: text messages, emails, and calls exchanged with recruiters through the platform.

3. Text messages and email

Recruiters use the platform to contact candidates about specific jobs. Every text message supports opt-out: reply STOP and the platform suppresses further texts to that number across the platform, not just from one sender. Emails carry an unsubscribe link with the same effect. Message frequency varies by conversation, and message and data rates may apply. Phone numbers and text-messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.

4. Calls, recording, and transcription

Calls placed through the platform can be recorded and transcribed when the account holder enables it, and transcripts may be summarized into notes. The recruiter placing the call is responsible for providing any notice and obtaining any consent that call-recording laws in the relevant states require.

5. AI-assisted processing

The platform uses AI to help recruiters work faster: matching candidates to a brief, screening replies against job requirements, scoring fit, summarizing calls, and drafting messages that the recruiter reviews. These outputs are decision support for a human recruiter; the platform does not reject or hire anyone automatically. Employers remain responsible for their hiring decisions and for any rules that apply to automated hiring tools where they operate.

6. Sharing

Candidate information is shared with the employer or recruiter whose hiring process the candidate is part of, and with the service providers that run the platform: cloud hosting, telephony and messaging carriers, email delivery, transcription, and AI processing. All providers are bound by contracts limiting their use of the data. We do not sell candidate personal information.

7. Retention

Hiring records are kept while the employer’s account is active and for a period afterwards as required for legal and audit purposes, then deleted. Candidates can ask for their information to be removed at any time (section 8), subject to records the employer is legally required to keep.

8. Candidate rights

If you are a candidate, you can ask what information the platform holds about you, ask for corrections, ask for a copy, or ask for deletion, and you can opt out of being contacted at any time (reply STOP to any text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or tell the recruiter). Email privacy@constructico.com and we will respond within the time applicable law requires. Where a request concerns data an employer controls, we will pass it to that employer and support them in fulfilling it.

9. Security

Access to candidate data is limited to the account that holds it, protected by authentication and role-based permissions, encrypted in transit, and logged. We review access and dependencies regularly.

10. Changes and contact

Changes to this policy will be posted here with an updated date. Questions: privacy@constructico.com.
